Distributed Sun Installs Solar System for Hilton Hotel BWI Airport

Distributed Sun LLC, a solar services provider and a project developer, has begun serving solar energy to the Hilton Hotel BWI Airport which is a PMHS property located in Maryland.

The solar system is owned by SEIC (Solar Energy Investment Company), sunONE. The system combines on-site energy with green energy savings, producing almost 60 MWh of electric power annually, and over its lifetime in excess of 2 GWh of electricity.

The solar services of Distributed Sun provided to PMHS have been widely considered as much healthy for the environment when compared to conventional energy, thus, offsetting CO2 to the extent of 3.5 million pounds. Solar power thus obtained costs the Hilton much lesser per kWh produced than the purchase of electricity from the grid.
