SunGreen Systems Donates PV Solar Systems to Habitat Project

SunGreen Systems Inc. is donating PV solar systems meant for five novel townhomes presently being constructed by the San Gabriel Valley Habitat for Humanity. SunGreen Systems will be covering $79,500 as costs towards the systems as well as installation in Glendale for the Geneva Street Project while helping Habitat for Humanity in raising $600,000 as cash towards building these units.

For Habitat for Humanity, this would become its first green project. SunGreen Systems will be installing nine panels for every home. The power generated from these solar systems will be 2 KW for every home while helping to save approximately $80 to $100 towards the monthly bill for electricity.

The Geneva project is slated to commence from March 2011. The government and the local community are very much looking forward to the installation of these solar systems.
