Come October, solar and wind developers, suppliers, manufacturers as well as administrators of the Ontario Feed-in Tariff will be gathering for the Ontario Feed-in Tariff Supply Chain Forum to discuss the opportunities and challenges of building the solar and wind supply chains of Ontario.
The forum, which will be conducted in Toronto during October 5-6, seeks to address key questions associated with supply chain challenges for solar and wind FIT projects including Economic Connection Tests (ECTs) and transmission expansion. Sponsored by Enfinity, Siemens and Navigant Consulting, this event will feature more than 50 speakers.
The forum provides a platform for solar and wind manufacturers and suppliers, scheme administrators as well as FIT project developers to discuss about the FIT scheme and conclude on the necessary steps for ensuring the success of the program. One of the companies to make a presentation at the event will be Day4 Energy, which has licensed its solar technology to certain manufacturers in Ontario.
The forum is supported by numerous partners and organizations including The Great Lakes Wind Network (GLWN), Canadian Solar Industries Association (CanSIA), the Ontario Sustainable Energy Association (OSEA), Canadian Manufacturers and Exporters (CME), the Canadian Renewable Energy Alliance (CanREA), The Green Energy Act Alliance, McMillan LLP, Electricity Today and Recharge.
