Yingli Partners with Cegelec for Supply of PV Solar Modules

Yingli Green Energy Holding Company Limited (Yingli), a solar energy firm and a vertically integrated PV manufacturer that markets its products through the "Yingli Solar" brand, has inked a PV module sales contract for a capacity of 7.9MW with French PV system integrator Cegelec.

The PV modules delivered by means of this contract are likely to be erected into ground-mounted systems in the southwest region of France. As on date, this contract is the largest one between the two firms.

Recently, owing to the growth in the solar market of France, Yingli has established an office in Lyon, France. This establishment by Yingli was done in an effort to be close to the French market and thereby to provide ideal and prompt service to its partners and customers. The contract with Cegelec is an essential component to the growth strategy of Yingli in France.
