Portland General Electric Completes Biglow Canyon Wind Energy Project

Portland General Electric Company, an electric utility, has finished the final stage of its Biglow Canyon wind farm valued at $1 billion with 450 MW in overall installed capacity.

This renewable energy project is owned, operated and built by Portland General Electric Company (PGE) while being developed by a firm named Orion Energy LLC. The project has its location in an area of 25,000 acres located near Wasco under the Sherman County in Oregon while being constructed under three stages.

This wind energy plant is anticipated to produce approximately 150 MW of energy, equivalent of powering 125,000 residential customers of PGE.
