Second Wind, a wind measurement systems developer, has introduced its novel ProMast 60 tower package that offers affordable wind measurement solutions.
The ProMast 60 is an all-in-one flexible package for meeting individual customer needs. Second Wind has made this announcement at the annual event, the AWEA Wind Resource & Project Energy Assessment Workshop. The company has added novel customizable met tower packages with a height of 60 meters and a novel 60-meter meteorological mast to its portfolio of wind measurement services.
The new tower packages from Second Wind include the unique ProMast 60 tubular tower that is enabled with a wide instruments array that includes wind vanes, anemometers, along with a Nomad 2 Wind Data Logger, an instrument that has a worldwide presence in about 50 countries and seven continents, right from Antarctica to the Arctic, while each unit compiles data from 20 weather sensors.
For resisting corrosion, the ProMast 60 has been made from hot-dipped and galvanized steel while the tower components have been packaged for minimizing waste. ProMast 60 has on offer a unique combination of top-performance and competitive pricing for developers who are prospecting new sites for establishing wind farms.
