MHI Inks Agreement with Yinxing Energy on Wind Turbine Technology

MHI (Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd.) is all set to provide its 2.5 MW wind turbine production technology to Yinxing Energy of China. Meanwhile, the MHI has been intending to increase its overall wind turbine production under a license in China.

Towards this purpose, an agreement has been entered into between Yinxing Energy and MHI. This manufacturing technology for large-sized wind turbines is all set for becoming the mainstream technology in the Chinese market where wind turbine demand is expanding sharply on account of strong electricity demands while addressing environmental issues too.

The government of China is also encouraging the introduction of wind energy and the country intends to produce in excess of 100,000 MW capacity of wind energy by the year 2020.
