The solar panels proposed for the municipal building’s roof could be generating cumulative savings to the extent of $840,000 over a period of 20 years.

The solar project would offset CO2 to the extent of 1.5 million pounds. The construction of the solar projects is anticipated to begin by January 2011 while creating numerous green jobs and simultaneously protecting the environment as well.
