Broadway Electrical and Alpha Grainger Install Solar Power System in Franklin, MA

Broadway Electrical and Alpha Grainger Manufacturing have joined together for installing a solar power system in Massachusetts. This rooftop solar installation has been completed at Alpha Grainger’s manufacturing facility covering an area of 90,000 sq. ft. in Franklin, Massachusetts.

It is anticipated that this solar power system will be generating 481,525 kWh of electricity annually, thus saving in excess of $72,000 towards the company’s annual energy bills. This solar project is a joint collaboration between Satcon and PanelClaw, DOER (Department of Energy Resources), MassCEC (Massachusetts Clean Energy Center), Alpha Grainger and Broadway Electrical.

The Solstice system of Satcon has been selected by Broadway Electrical towards providing a complete solution for this project in terms of power harvesting as well as management. This solar installation has been enabled with 1,575 units of Suntech solar panels with power of 270 W each.
