Infima Renovables Proposes 40-MW Wind Energy Project in Nicaragua

Infima Renovables has entered into a contract towards the construction of a 40-MW wind energy project with location in Isthmus of Rivas in Nicaragua. Infima Renovables is a Spanish consultancy firm for wind energy.

The company has entered into a framework agreement towards outsourcing specific portions of building this wind farm coming under La Fe in San Martin.

Work on this project will start upon the arrival of an engineering team in Managua while the launch of the wind farm operations is slated for September 2011. This wind farm consists of 22 numbers of Vestas wind turbines with a power generation capacity of 1.8 MW each. This wind project is in line with the company’s expansion plans for Latin America.
