Trony Solar Intends to Raise $224 Million through IPO in Hong Kong

Trony Solar Holdings Co. Ltd. is a Chinese solar module manufacturer producing thin-film cells. The company is planning to raise around $224 million through an IPO (Initial Public Offering) in Hong Kong, reportedly.

Trony Solar Holdings has decided to sell 385 million shares and among these, 40 million shares belong to the secondary category. JP Morgan is handling this IPO.

Trony Solar Holdings makes use of thin-film solar technology that is silicon based. These silicon-based PV solar modules are enabled with a wider application range in comparison to the conventional solar modules.
