New Energy Launches SolarWindow Technology

New Energy Technologies Inc. has successfully launched the company’s proprietary SolarWindow technology that is capable of generating electricity on a see-thru glass, and can outperform rooftop solar systems by a margin of 300%. This spray-On technology is capable of turning glass surfaces into windows that can generate electricity.

The application of this SolarWindow technology upon exterior glass surfaces in commercial towers is capable of generating energy savings that is many times greater than traditional rooftop solar systems. The SolarWindow technology is the first spray-on, see-thru technology among its kind.

For commercial applications like office towers or building facades, engineers have estimated that this new technology can provide energy savings in excess of 300% over traditional solar systems. As a key technique towards maximizing the energy production, this new technology can be applied upon extensive glass surfaces present on commercial skyscrapers.
