Emerson to Showcase its Technologies at Solar Power Event

Emerson is all set to demonstrate its solar inverter as well as power plant control technologies at the Solar Power International Event to be held during October 12–14, 2010 at the Convention Center in Los Angeles.

At this conference and expo, Emerson will be highlighting its leadership towards the various technologies that fall under the renewable energy category.

The demonstrations will be highlighting the company’s business platforms throughout industrial automation, network power and process management. The diverse businesses of Emerson would be showcasing the solar inverters in the range of 5 kW to 1.59 MW capacities that cover large utility scale and industrial applications, small businesses, residences along with DCS (distributed control systems) for solar power plant facilities.

Emerson is a global leader in providing control systems for the generation of CSP (concentrating solar power). The company has on offer turbine controls that are fully integrated, solar tracking, monitoring of inverters as well as meteorology.
