Zotos International to Launch Wind Energy Project in Geneva, NY

Zotos International Inc. is all set to launch a wind energy project in Geneva, New York.

This $7-million wind energy project will involve constructing two wind turbines having the capacity to produce 7,500 MW of electricity before the end of 2010 in Geneva city.

This wind energy project forms a part of the company’s sustainability initiatives aimed at powering this 670,000 sq. ft. facility completely with renewable energy by the year 2011. The ARRA (American Recovery and Reinvestment Act) covers 30% of the cost of the project.

Hundreds of Zotos International dignitaries and employees were present for the groundbreaking ceremony of this wind energy project. Geneva city will be supporting the wind energy project of Zotos International since the local community is a robust supporter of renewable energy while understanding its critical role in the present global economy. The company employs hundreds of workers in its Geneva plant.
