Yingli Green Energy Holding Company Limited, a solar energy company, and The New York Jets, a NFL team in the U.S., have made an announcement indicating the completion of installation of one of the largest solar power systems at the Atlantic Health Training Center of the NFL team in Florham Park, New Jersey.
For this purpose, the owner of the solar system Syncarpha Capital chose SunDurance Energy for designing and constructing the project, and collaborated with Evolution Energies for developing this 690-kW solar project.
More than 3,000 solar panels of Yingli Green Energy were used for this project. The power generated from this solar project would be sold off to The New York Jets through a long-term PPA (power purchase agreement).
This solar system at the Atlantic Health Training Center will produce more than 750,000 kWh of electrical energy for the building annually. The project will decrease 540 metric tons of carbon dioxide emissions annually, equal to removing more than 100 cars from the road.
