EPS Corp. Chosen by Avon Products for Boosting Energy Efficiency and Sustainability

EPS Corp. has been chosen by Avon products towards increasing the company’s initiatives in terms of sustainability and energy efficiency. Avon Products has selected EPS Corp’s xChange Point, which is a carbon reduction and energy management solution for the purpose of facilitating the company’s energy drives in the Morton Grove, Illinois plant.

xChange Point would be deployed initially at the manufacturing plant for monitoring and analyzing the current energy consumption while identifying areas for the best possible improvement and designing a strategy towards increasing the overall energy efficiency of the plant. Between 2004 and 2008, Avon Products had curtailed the plant’s energy consumption to the extent of 13.25% per unit and thus the company is already upon the sustainability forefront. Additionally, Avon Products has set a 10% goal towards further lowering its energy consumption on the production per unit by 2012.

EPS Corp’s xChange Point System has been deployed by multiple manufacturing companies coming under the Fortune 1000 listing towards understanding as well as reducing their respective carbon, water and energy profiles throughout their facilities. In the realm of energy usage, the xChange Point solution enables corporations to improve sustainability while reducing costs.
