Adani Group Chooses Aries Waaree Solar to Complete Installation of Solar Power Plant in Gujarat

Aries Waaree Solar Pvt Ltd. (AWSPL), a partnership venture of Waaree Group of Mumbai and Aries Spain, has obtained an order from Adani Group of Gujarat India to provide engineering services for the erection of a 40 MW solar PV power plant.

Hitesh Doshi, Waaree Group’s Chairman, called it a proud occasion for Aries Waaree Solar Private Limited to receive an order from Adani Group thus making the company important among other solar power engineering companies. He added that his company in addition to providing quality engineering services for the project will also ensure the use of quality solar products and PV modules in the project. Alberto Sanchez, Aries Ingenieria y Sistemas’s Business Development Manager for Asia, expressed his happiness to build a significant project for Adani Group. He added that this the first time a project of this magnitude is built in India and as well as in Asia and it signifies an important landmark in the solar energy development efforts in India.

V.K. Jain, Adani Group’s, Joint President and Head of Renewable Power, expressed his happiness in signing the order with AWSPL and said the current attempt is Adani Group’s first move for solar power generation. He conveyed his optimism about more companies moving towards solar power generation to make India a leading solar market in the world.
