Enphase Energy, a microinverter systems manufacturing company, has made it known that it will associate with Suntech Power Holdings Co Ltd, a producer of crystalline silicon solar panels, to inquire into the possibilities of developing a smart panel technology.
The alliance is intended to try out the incorporation of its Enphase micro inverters into the solar panels of Suntech to make the solar installation process easy and to increase the power output. The Enphase system provides a number of benefits when compared to a conventional type of inverter system. The inverters provide a minimum of 25% increase in energy production, easy and simple installation and enhanced system reliability. The company has sold around 400,000 microinverters since its introduction in 2008.
Paul Nahi, Enphase Energy’s President and CEO, expressed his excitement over partnering with Suntech. He anticipates that the association will bring in considerable benefits to the clients of both the companies.
Shijun Cai Senior Vice President of Suntech said that both the companies have so far savored a lasting distribution association. He added that his company is happy to extend this association in the development of smart panel technology. He concluded saying that both the companies are dedicated to introducing new products that can increase energy output and provide better system design.
