Soliant Energy, a concentrated PV solution providing company, declared that it has installed the Soliant CPV rooftop solar system over the 17,000 rooftop space of MBK Tape Solutions, a company engaged in the manufacture of flexible materials and adhesive tapes.
The grid connected roof top system installed over headquarters of MBK Tape Solutions located in Chatsworth in northwest Los Angeles will produce 10 kW of electric power to meet the energy requirements of the company. The exclusive rooftop system developed and installed by Soliant is designed to provide maximum power production from a limited area of roof installation. The solar system produces nearly twice the power than the other conventionally designed commercial roof top systems.
Jeff Kaminski, MBK Tape Solution Company’s President said that his company is engaged in providing adhesive products to the renewable energy industry for a number of years supporting clean environmental requirements. He added that the ROI on the installed system provided by Soliant proves it to be a good investment. Dr. Terry Bailey, Soliant Energy’s President Chief Executive, said that Los Angels City has a number of unused roof tops providing millions of square foot area to enable rooftop solar installation. He added that the MBK project may lead to more such type of installations in the state and beyond.
