Bloo Solar, a company that incorporates third generation solar expertise in its solar PV panels to optimize their performance, declared that it has been selected by AlwaysOn, a business media brand networking company, as one among the GoingGreen Silicon Valley 100 winners.
AlwaysOn includes only those companies that showed vision in adopting the changing technologies that can bring in a radical transformation in the currently existing markets and to the well established companies. The company utilized five criteria such as market potential, innovation, stakeholder value, commercialization and media buzz during the selection process and utilized the services of its own editorial team and industry experts from all over the world. The 100 winners were chosen from the thousands of nominations received from green tech companies, investors, journalists and bankers and the selection process went on for three months. Bloo Solar incorporates a 3rd generation technology in the manufacture of its solar panels that offer a number of basic advantages over conventional technologies. The three dimensional single junction design provided by the company offers extra surface area, good solar light absorption, and improved conversion efficiency to offer 1.5 to 3 times increased output than the existing technologies.
Weston McBride, Editor of Greentech and working for AlwaysOn, said that the top 100 winners of the contest survived the grueling economic conditions utilizing modernization and ingenuity. He added that the companies can be taken as an example to know, how the future clean energy companies will change the economic conditions all over the world with more efficient systems prepared for steady growth.
