Imperial e-Biofuels Boosts Sales Revenues

Imperial e-Biofuels, a subsidiary of Imperial Petroleum, is a biodiesel producer based in Middletown, Indiana. The company has sold biodiesel in September 2010 to the extent of 1.87 million gallons thus resulting in sales revenues to the extent of $5.65 million. These revenues represent a considerable increase in comparison to the company’s average monthly revenues.

The management and staff of Imperial e-Biofuels have worked very hard towards ramping up the sales volumes as well as revenues and simultaneously holding down production costs. Though the initial annual production capacity was slated for 15 million gallons the capacity was expanded to 25 million gallons subsequently.

The company is also looking forward to completing the proto-type operations during the coming 60 days for determining the possibility of any issues for scaling up to convert the plant to a process technology that is more efficient while also adding up the capabilities for bio-jet fuel. The company is also planning to run recovery tests in October for removing metals as well as other harmful materials from the bio-char that is produced as a resultant of pyrolysis of the auto shredder residue. Once these tests prove to be successful, the company will be able to proceed with its planned installation of the pyrolysis circuit for converting bio-mass and waste into energy.
