PPL’s Wind Turbines Draw Bouquets as well as Brickbats

PPL Renewable Energy’s wind turbines constructed across the Susquehanna River is drawing kudos and criticism, bouquets as well as brickbats. Some of the visitors to the Lower Windsor Township’s Long Level area do like the environmental effects of the new wind turbines but others are questioning their impact on the landscape.

These two new wind turbines that stand across the horizon of the Susquehanna River have created a buzz, more so, conversation is in plenty among its visitors who throng the Shank’s Mare Outfitters area. Most people wanted to know as to when these wind turbines were constructed. Jonathan Darby, store employee, has noticed that the wind turbines have come up during the last few weeks.

PPL Renewable Energy has built and designed these turbines. The wind turbines are anticipated to become operational by spring at Turkey Point’s Frey Farm Landfill.
