GT Solar Inaugurates Asian Headquarters in Hong Kong

GT Solar has inaugurated its Asian operational headquarters located in Hong Kong. This new facility serves customer needs in the Asia Pacific region. Since 85% of the company’s business stems from Asia, particularly China, the location of most customers, the Hong Kong Asian headquarters was a logical step for the company.

By focusing the business operations in Hong Kong, the company will become more responsive towards the local customers while continuing to provide high product quality as well as customer support levels. For GT Solar, Hong Kong was chosen as the ideal place for locating its Asian headquarters, owing to the talent pool and favorable business climate.

GT Solar’s local team specializes in quality assurance, logistics, supply chain, service, business development and sales. Expanding the company’s business functions in the region directly will allow GT Solar in competing more effectively towards facing the challenges posed by this fast paced solar market.
