Turbina IPD, a manufacturer of vertical wind turbines and having its head office at Kotor Varos located in northern Bosnia and Herzegovina, declared that it has got its first wind turbine purchase order from Mobitel a telecom operator from Slovania. The prototype wind turbine will have the capability to produce 2 kW power.
The company has received the order to design and manufacture the wind turbine on a turnkey basis and deliver it to Mobitel systems for its use. The wind turbine order estimated to be between €100,000 to 200,000 will be the first wind turbine that could get permission for the construction of a structure from the authorities in Slovenia. The vertical axis wind turbine to be delivered will have a hybrid system to get power from the use of solar panels. The proposed wind turbine functions noiselessly, without making any type of vibrations and is not wind direction specific. It can continue to function irrespective of the wind direction without posing threat to birds or humans.
Miroslav Tesic, proprieter of Turbina IPD and its Project Manager, said that the wind turbine will become functional from the earlier weeks of November this year. He further said that the company is planning to expand its staff base to start the manufacture of wind turbines which will be set atop the base stations of the mobile operators to power the functions. He also unveiled the plans of the company to enlist in the Banja Luka Stock exchange during the early part of next year to raise its capital to the tune of € 2.0 million.
