JinkoSolar Signs Agreements with Saint-Gobain for Supply of Solar Modules

JinkoSolar Holding Co. Ltd, a Chinese solar product manufacturer, declared that it has signed agreements with Saint-Gobain Building Distribution Deutschland GmbH (SGBDD), to supply 54 MW of solar modules with 4 MW to be supplied in 2010 and 50 MW in 2011.

According to the Chairman of the Board of Directors at JinkoSolar, Xiande Li, the company was thrilled to have acquired a partner such as SGBDD, considered to be one among Europe’s foremost building supply distributors. He said that SGBDD’s shift into solar products shows its long-term planning, and confidence in the global solar industry, and also reiterates Germany’s position as a key market for solar products. The agreement also enhanced the company’s ties with brilliant solar players, and proved the superior quality of their solar modules. He emphasized that they were eagerly waiting to build a long lasting and profitable relationship with SGBDD.

SGBDD’s CEO, Udo Brandt, commented that they were delighted to have formed alliances with JinkoSolar, whose solar modules meet the tough and meticulous quality tests posed by their company. They had plans of selling the JinkoSolar products throughout Germany, via their chain stores. He also mentioned that JinkoSolar with its proven track record, was the biggest solar module supplier currently, and hoped that this new relationship would be of great benefit to their future business expansion program.
