enXco Service Signs Accord for Maintenance of Linden Wind Power Project with SCPPA

enXco Service , a company owned by EDF Energies Nouvelles Company, declared that it has contracted an operations and maintenance accord with Southern California Public Power Authority (SCPPA). The signed accord will make enXco responsible for the maintenance and operations of the 50 MW Linden Wind Power Project, situated in Klickitat County, Washington.

The construction of the project began in November last year and the project accomplished its commercial power production in June 2010. enXco Service Corporation offered its services at the construction stage to put the project into operation. The company will offer the on location operation and maintenance (O&M) services for the remaining part of the plant’s warranty period and for the post-warranty period of the turbines. In addition to onsite operations and maintenance services, the company will also provide 24/7 facility to monitor the functioning of the wind turbines remotely through its Operations Control Center set at Chandler, Minnesota.

Dave Luck, enXco’s Business Development Director expressed happiness over the choice of SCPPA to offer operations and maintenance services for the Linden wind project. He said that the project helped the company to improve its portfolio of projects in the Northwest Region.
