Hydra to Provide HydraStax Fuel Cell to Liberty Towers

Hydra Fuel Cell Corporation, a fully owned auxiliary of American Security Resources Corporation (ARSC), declared that it will make the first commercial installation of its HydraStax fuel cell for Liberty Towers, a communication tower constructing company, headquartered at greater Washington, DC.

Michael Hofe, Liberty Towers, President and COO, shared the excitement of his company to work along with Hydra Fuel Cell Corporation. He said that the PEM-based fuel cell from Hydra will be used as a main component in their off-grid solutions plan, to decide on the stand-by and main power solutions to sustain the tower operations of the company. He added that the Fuel cell solution will be utilized in the management of their communication towers during extreme exigencies or will be used as a total grid substitute for remotely located towers that have no access to grid. He expressed his conviction that the easily modifiable fuel cell solutions from Hydra will enable his company to deploy cost-efficient, off-grid solutions while reducing the costs.

Jim Twedt, CEO of Hydra, said that currently his company is engaged in the pre-delivery site engineering along with Liberty and working on the installation details. He added that the product will be shipped later after some weeks and the installation will take place afterwards.
