SCC Solar Energy Group (SCC Solar), an auxiliary of Silicon Chemical Corporation (SCC), has been hired by Silfab Ontario an auxiliary of Silfab, and an Italian PV modules providing company, to offer program and engineering building administration services for its latest solar module production facility at Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. Earlier during last June Silfab had declared its designs to start a new production plant at Mississauga and has now taken over the manufacturing facility and announced its intentions to commence the initial phase of its manufacturing in the early part of 2011.
SCC Solar will work along with Green to Green Engineering (G2G), a part of Silfab and a company that has formulated the manufacturing process and provided the required specifications for the equipments, required for the manufacturing facility at Mississauga. Silfab Ontario has hired the services of G2G Engineering to manage the design of the module manufacturing line and the related process while SCC Solar has been engaged to provide the required program and technology for erecting the building, its utilities and all other general services related to the project. The company is devoted to integrate various stages of solar power production to maximize the intake of solar power to augment the energy efficiency while reducing its impact on the environment..
Gary Phillips, SCC Solar’s President and CEO, thanked Silfab Ontario for selecting SCC to manage the program, engineering and construction management services of the company. He added that SCC and SCC Solar are devoted to offering cheap and long standing solutions for its clients in the production of solar materials. Peter Binn, President of the same company shared the view of Gary Philips and added that SCC Solar will operate in close liaison with Silfab Ontario to attain a total power production capability of 180 MW in 2012.
