NACEL to Complete System Impact Study of Snowflake Wind Power Project

NACEL Energy Corporation, a company engaged in formulating and installing utility level wind power production facilities, affirmed that it has contracted an accord with Arizona Public Service Company (APS) to conclude a study on the anticipated impact of its Snowflake Wind Power project to be located in Navajo County, Arizona.

The company had earlier applied for integrating the first phase of its 18.9 MW wind generation facility to the APS power grid. The impact study is important for signing the interconnection accord with APS. The study will evaluate all the systems related to the project and provide needed suggestions to upgrade the equipment or systems essential for linking the power generated from the facility to the grid. NACEL had announced the starting of the project way back in July 2009.

Mark Schaftlein, Chief Executive Officer at NACEL Energy, said that his company has made a commitment to investing companies such as JMJ Financial and continue to require funds for developing  wind energy projects, which includes Snowflake wind project in Arizona and other five wind projects in the Texas Panhandle, to achieve its corporate objective of producing clean inexhaustible energy.
