New ES-E Series String Ribbon Solar Panels Offer Increased Productivity

Evergreen Solar, developer and producer of String Ribbon solar panels that incorporates its patented silicon wafer technology, has declared the introduction of its latest ES-E Series String Ribbon solar panels.

The new ES-E Series String Ribbon solar panels have higher voltage capabilities and suited for use with micro-inverters meeting the requirements of home users. The panels offered in 210 to 220W power ranges, harvest more energy in any type of climatic conditions and can be installed over any roof segments. The panels incorporate the electrical connections between the cell strings within the panel invisibly, thus improving the aesthetics of the panels. The panels manufactured with a patented technology generates more electric power while leaving least level of carbon emissions. The high energy producing silicon based solar panels almost repay the investment within 12 months of installation. The panels are IEC 61701 certified and endure salt and mist conditions, thus making them fit for erection even in coastal locations. The panels also received ISO 9001 certification and are listed for UL and CEC.

Scott Gish, Vice President of Sales and Marketing in Evergreen Solar, said that the new product is manufactured focusing the usage of the clients. He added that the higher voltage feature of the panels allows the installer a range of selections in choosing the type of inverters and the string lengths to meet the exclusive requirements of rooftop installations. He added that the increased power productivity feature of the product allows easy panel management during the installations, while permitting augmented power production.
