PetroAlgae to Introduce Green Jet Fuel in Chile

PetroAlgae, a USA-based renewable energy company that provides permission for the commercial usage of its micro-crop technology, declared that it has contracted a non-obligatory off-take supply accord with the Chilean airline company Sky Airline.

The companies have decided to work together to facilitate Sky Airline to buy the fuel raw material from the other producers who have availed permission to use Petroalgae technology to convert the raw material into biofuel.

The company presently provides license to position a biomass manufacturing program to fulfill the current and the ever increasing un-served demands of the worldwide agriculture and energy markets. The patented technology of the company provides licenses to its clients to enable them to produce aquatic microorganisms at nearly four times their normal natural growth values. The improved growth facilitates large commercial level production of protein and fuel feedstock. The fuel feedstock is used as a raw material in refineries to enable production of clean energy fuel which includes renewable jet fuel.

Holger Paulmann, Sky Airline Director, expressed his excitement in working along with PetroAlgae in bringing renewable jet fuel technology to Chile. He added that his airline company always remained on the forefront to implement green energy technologies. He further said that by deploying the technology provided by PetroAlgae, the company anticipates to produce clean and renewable jet fuel from the refineries owned by it, which in due course will assist the company to lessen its fossil fuel usage and introduce more green jobs during the implementation process.
