Joint Venture Announced between Gehrlicher of Germany with Indian Green Force Enviro

Gehrlicher Solar, a German giant in the field of Solar photovoltaics, and Greenforce Enviro, an Indian company providing turn-key solutions for the renewable energy sector, have formed a joint venture firm called Gehrlicher Solar (India), for providing EPC and supplementary services for solar plants, which are being proposed in response to the Government of India’s newly announced Jawaharlal Nehru National Solar Mission.

This is for propagating solar power plant installations for achieving a 20,000 MW capacity target by 2020. The total investment would be around USD five million.

The shareholding pattern reveals that Gehrlicher Solar , will have 51 % while Green Force Enviro will take up 49% of the shares. Gehrlicher Solar not only designs but also constructs, sponsors and operates PV plants, and in addition offers PV modules and components. This global company has executed around 50 huge solar power systems by using highly ground-breaking and low cost technologies. It is one of the topmost solar power EPC companies with a €300 million  turnover. Green Force Enviro is supported by Soham World, a Thane-Mumbai based real estate group. This company is committed to green development inclusive of solar, both thermal and photovoltaic, MSW treatment, bio-gas and other green technological innovations.
