HyperSolar’s New Technology to Improve Energy Output of Solar Cells

HyperSolar, a solar cells developing company, declared that it has discovered a new technology to amplify the received solar energy to boost the power output of the solar cells up to 300%.

The new thin and flat type of light weight magnification layer deploys thousands of tiny solar light collectors over the surface which collects the sunlight all through the day from a range of angles and transports the received sun light into a patented light sending system. By utilizing novel techniques the collected sunlight is separated into various spectrum ranges and sent to the output points located at the bottom to facilitate placing of different types of solar cells. The feature allows the use of a single solar cell in place of three cells used in other systems, thus allowing the solar panel producers to lessen the number of cells used per panel by nearly 66% to save on cost per watt spending.

Tim Young, CEO of HyperSolar, expressed his excitement about the breakthrough. He added that his company focused more on the delivery of solar light to the cells instead of improving the efficiency of the solar cells. He said that his company is in the process of developing a slender and flat type of light intensification layer for transporting the sunlight over the standard type of solar cells to improve the production efficiency. He explained that increased light intensification over the HyperSolar layer improves the power production of the enclosed solar cell. He declared the intention of the company to move into prototype stage during the early part of next year and then on to full fledged commercial production.
