Solar Energy Projects to be Implemented in Rajasthan, India

The State Government of Rajasthan has declared that 505 MW capacity Solar Energy Projects are to be constructed in the State, with an investment of Rs. 6000 crore by Private Sector Companies.

An official statement released in Jaipur, mentions that the tender processes have recently been opened for the selection of solar power units of 630 MW capacities, out of which, 505 MW capacity projects would be established in Rajasthan. According to Ashok Gehlot, the Chief Minister of Rajasthan, this initiative would convert the state of Rajasthan into a solar energy hub in the near future. His Government was all for improving and bettering the necessary infrastructure needed for this effort.
