Cenergy Power, solar power developing company in California, declared, that it has completed the 1.108 MW solar photovoltaic system for Primex Farms, a company engaged in growing and processing dried fruits and nuts.
The solar system is installed over carports, two facility roofs and over ground space of their Wasco processing facility. The installed facility is expected to generate around 1.7 million kWh of solar energy every year. The power generated from the system will offset approximately 40 million pounds of carbon dioxide release over a period of 20 years. As required by the signed accord, Cenergy Power will offer operations and maintenance services, which include preventive maintenance, free panel cleaning and any unexpected repairs for a period of 10 years.
Dr. Ali Amin, Primex Farms CEO, said that the solar installation reveals the commitment of the company to sustainable business practices. He added that the company has an idea to provide increased value for the crops produced by the farmers and the solar solution provided by Cenergy Power has in a way helped the company to advance that objective.
Nader Yarpezeshkan, Cenergy Power’s Director of Business Development, appreciated the efforts of Primex Farms in reducing their carbon footprint and expressed his happiness to be a part of clean energy effort of Primex Farms.
