WindPower Innovations to Offer Solutions for a Hydro Power Plant in Alaska

WindPower Innovations, a company known for its smart grid solutions and wind power generation infrastructure, is into hydropower solutions as well.

The company is currently in the final stages of discussions to offer solutions for setting up a hydro electric power facility in Alaska. The company is engaged by an undisclosed water treatment company in Alaska to offer hydro electric power production solutions. The signing of the negotiations will help the water treatment company to get more government funding while reducing the level of energy cost at the city.

John Myers, Windpower’s President and CEO, said that the State of Alaska has copious potential for hydro power, a clean energy product, and shared the excitement of the company in implementing the innovative applications of the company in villages and small towns of the state. He explained that the back-end applications utilized in the technology can be utilized in the power generation of any type of renewable energy including wind. He added that his company can use the same portable type of solutions offered for the local communities in Alaska by replicating it for use with high volume businesses.
