Sky High Energy Witnesses Growth in Solar Power Installation

Sky High Energy, a solar installation providing company from Arizona, declared that it has achieved over 500% rise in sales due to increase in the pricing of fossil fuel generated power and spurt in the growth of home-based solar installations.

APS, a utility company from Arizona, has announced 50% cut in the solar incentives from the rebate of $3.00 per watt to $1.75 per watt and a number of people wanted to complete the installations before further cut in the rates are announced. Growing demand for the Phoenix Solar Installations is also considered as a reason for the rebate cut. The growing number of requests for new installations has extended the period taken for such new installations to almost a year. Sky High Energy is looking forward to making use of the high level of solar potential of Arizona State and the current demand for solar products to push its products.

Preston Hansen, Sky High Energy’s CEO, said that the rebate cut from APS was quick and unexpected and the company is flooded with calls from  people who want to complete the solar installations before any further cuts. He added that his company has seen a record improvement in the number of solar installations and sales during 2010..
