Samco Machinery, SunEdison to Manufacture Solar Racking Systems

Samco Machinery, auto parts manufacturing from Ontario, Canada, has declared its plans to update its machinery to produce components required for solar power installations.

The company has entered into a joint venture with SunEdison to manufacture solar racking equipment. Currently, the company is in the process of investing and upgrading its product line to suit the new manufacturing process. The company is planning to produce solar racking equipment that is utilized to erect the solar panels and adjust them to face the sun to collect solar energy. The racking equipment manufactured by the company will help in meeting the ever increasing demand for solar panels in the Province as well as in North America.

David A. Pichard, Samco Machinery’s Vice President of Solar Business Development, said, that the dedication shown by Ontario in implementing renewable energy sources has assisted the company to make profits and introduce more production jobs. He added that the association with SunEdison has extended the company a notable opening to move and grow into clean energy sector.

Jason Gray, SunEdison’s Vice President for Canada, said that his company is influenced by the professional approach and expertise of Samco and is happy to associate with them. He added that the skilled work force deployed by Samco and their interest to move into solar industry will assist the company to make a name in the solar industry of Ontario.
