World Institute of Sustainable Energy Joins AUSIB in Hosting Wind Power India

The Alliance for U.S. India Business (AUSIB), a not for profit trade association, that assists in the growth of business in India and World Institute of Sustainable Energy (WISE), an Indian outfit, engaged in spreading of knowledge on green energy, energy protection and green energy development, have contracted an alliance to promote Wind Power India international conference and exhibition, which is to take place on April 7-9, 2011, in Chennai, India. The two organizations signed the MOU on 29th November 2010.

Wind Power India 2011 is the first of its type global wind event to be hosted in India. The event is similar to the domestic national wind meet, Wind India, founded in Pune, India in 2006 by WISE. The planned event is anticipated to witness over 1,000 delegates, 60 speakers and 200 exhibitors from wind energy industry. The event is for discussing the currently developed technologies, new inventions and development potential of the wind industry.

Sanjay Puri, President of AUSIB, said that India has good wind power potential and provides exciting opportunities for renewable energy industry. He expressed his happiness to associate with the activities of WISE in the Wind Power India 2011.
