LDK Solar Contracts Multi-Year Accord with Lu'an Group

LDK Solar, a producer of photovoltaic products and multicrystalline wafers, declared that the company has signed a multi-year supply accord with Shanxi Lu'an Photovoltaic Technology, a Chinese energy company.

The accord will require LDK Solar to supply 120 MW of solar wafers between January 2011 to December 2012 and 2000 metric tons of polysilicon during January 2011 to February 2013.

Xiaofeng Peng, LDK Solar’s Chairman and CEO, expressed his happiness to have Lu'an Group, a leading company, as its client. He added that the association with an important company in China elevates the company as a leading producer of solar products. He commented that the accord emphasizes the growing demand for polysilicon products and solar wafers manufactured by the company.
