Sovello, A S Solar to Distribute Solar Modules

Sovello proclaimed the launch of its Project Pro module, which is to be made in Ontario. Sovello, a German firm, will produce the solar modules in limited quantities in 2011’s first quarter and up to 2 MW every month for the rest of the year.

These solar modules are designed to suit the Canadian market following Canadian manufacturing standards and would meet Ontario’s dynamic solar PV market wherein there is an ever increasing demand for solar systems.

Sovello would ally with A S Solar, which would act as anchor distributor for its Ontario made solar modules. A S Solar is one of the foremost distributors of Solar PV systems for both commercial and residential markets. The company has several warehouses and logistic facilities, which would aid in supplying the required products. A S Solar also gives widespread support and product training to its ever increasing network of project developers and dealers.

According to Jan Dressel, Sovello Canada’s Managing Director, the company had identified Ontario to be a growing renewable energy market in the North American region. He also mentioned that the company was glad to create new jobs and thus contribute to Ontario’s economy. Ian Karleff, A S Solar’s Managing Director, divulged that the company was delighted to partner Sovello for the solar panels. He believed that this high quality product would lead to benefits and strong ROIs to the environment for more than 2 decades.
