In addition, Northern Power Systems has obtained 98% of median fleet availability in its installed base. In 2010, the company also received a grant from the US Department of Energy for its 450 midsize turbine development program. The company added national account channels to its partner network to serve military, large corporate and federal accounts and acquisition of Knight & Carver’s blade manufacturing assets.

The Vice President of Global Marketing and Business Development at Northern Power Systems, Sanjeev Choudhary, said the year 2010 has demonstrated that demand in the on-site wind market is growing stronger continuously.
