Evolution Solar, a solar energy solutions providing company, declared that it has imported photovoltaic solar panels, manufactured by Konca Solar Cell, China. The 230 W polycrystalline wafer type solar panels are the first of its type ever received in the U.S. Konca Solar has its solar grade wafers production plant in Jiangsu Province in China.
The company provides solar wafers for use in the manufacture of solar panels to a number of major producers such as Suntech-Power. The company manufactures over 300 MW worth of solar wafers every year.
Evolution Solar has plans to send across the panels received at Jacksonville, Fla., to a number of on going commercial and residential solar projects in Texas, Florida, North Carolina and other places. The company is looking forward to cash in on the predicted growth for solar panels in the country and anticipates having a strong sales market for Konca Solar Panels in the country.
Robert Hines, President of Evolution solar, said that he anticipates an increased demand for Konca solar products once they enter the market. He expressed his intentions to have a continued productive relationship with Konca Solar.
