The universal Solar Phone Charger offered by Choice Solar is provided with a separate 6-1/2 foot cable along with five usual types of connectors to connect gadgets such as mini USB, micro USB, Samsung, Nokia 3.5 mm and Nokia 2.0 mm cell phones. For the use of iPod, iTouch or iPhones the company has provided an exclusive iPhone Solar Charger pack, which consists of a solar power charger and a battery that can be recharged by utilizing the SunCharge or get connected to any other charging device or a Laptop through USB connectivity. The iPhone solar charger package is provided with a pull in type of USB charging cable and a cap/stand.

According to Ravi Sinha, Chairman of Choice Solar, the SunCharge packs were originally designed for distribution in India where the need for a cost-effective and dependable mobile charger is increasing, but has discovered a demand for the products in the USA. He pointed that most of the solar chargers currently available in the US markets make the recharge flow very slow and take too long a period to recharge a cell phone or any other device such as a battery.
