KB Racking Launches Lightweight Solar System

KB Racking has introduced its AeroRack model at a solar conference, which was held in Canada. The Canadian affiliate of Knubix , a provider of flat roof mounting systems, showcased its racking system at the CanSIA Solar Canada 2010.

The product has an aerodynamic design needing no ballast. In spite of the weight of the solar PV module, the system does not increase the weight of the roof by more than 2 lbs. The design eliminates the need for penetration of the roof. With the quick click technique, installation is quick and easy. The product has passed all tests for harsh weather conditions. The product will be manufactured in Ontario for the local market.
