Allwest Energy Arranges ‘Breakfast Crawl’ Solar Tour

Allwest Energy, a Phoenix, Arizona-based company, has recently arranged for a “breakfast crawl” to enable the residents of Goodyear Arizona to visit the homes of the neighbors who have installed solar panels to understand the use of solar energy.

The participants numbering around 25 were able to visit the homes that have installed rooftop solar panels, view the panels, understand how the power is generated and also were benefited by the lectures given by the experts. Dru Bacon, a consultant at Alwest Energy and who holds the position of President of the PebbleCreek Environment Club and gives lectures at Estrella Mountain Community College, gave a lecture on protecting the environment and how such protection can bring in economic benefits to the homeowners.

Pam Peaper, a resident of the local community who has installed solar panels over the roof of her house, showed the panels for the benefit of the visitors. She explained how the panels can be installed unobtrusively without being seen and how it brings savings on energy costs to her.
