Etrion Corporation, a solar power generating company, has declared the culmination of its Ruffano Solar Park located in Puglia, Italy.
The solar park with an installed capability of 1 MW will generate around 1.7 million kWh of renewable electric power valued over 600,000 euros before making deductions towards taxes, interest, amortization and depreciation every year.
The solar power plant incorporates ground located high efficiency solar panels manufactured by SunPower with the single axis solar tracker expertise. The solar package includes Siemens inverters to save and store the power generated by the solar panels. The solar project will avail the feed-in-tariff structure introduced by the government and will receive 0.346 euros in addition to the market price of around 0.08 euros per kWh. The feed-in-tariff program announced by the Italian government guarantees the premium pricing for the power generated from the day of commencing the operations.
Marco Northland, CEO of Etrion, expressed happiness in declaring the completion of the solar park project in Italy and added that his company is looking forward to complete a total of 50 MW worth projects before the completion of the current year.
