GT Solar International Receives Order from Trina Solar for DSS450HP Systems

GT Solar International, a worldwide supplier of polysilicon manufacturing expertise and silicon crystalline and sapphire developmental systems and other required products for LED, solar and other markets, declared that it has received two orders worth $23.8 million from Trina Solar.

Trina Solar has ordered for the patented DSS450HP crystalline ingot growth systems manufactured by GT Solar.

The ordered DSS450HP systems will be utilized by Trina Solar to increase its production capability considerably. GT Solar had first introduced its DSS240 system in the year 2003 and has transported above 2,000 such systems to solar module producing companies situated in the Asian region. The company has made considerable amount of investments to equip its customer services to handle its growing list of client installations in the Asia Pacific region efficiently. The installation teams deployed by the company completes the installations quickly to commission the projects.

Tom Gutierrez, president and CEO of GT Solar, expressed his happiness about the selection of DSS450HP systems by Trina Solar, a leading solar PV module producing company. He added that the crystalline ingot growth systems offered by the company will add value to the products of the solar PV produces with their dependability and proven field performance.
