Endicott Biofuels to Build Biorefinery at KMTEX Facility in Port Arthur, Texas

Endicott Biofuels and KMTEX have inked a deal to develop a biorefinery facility with an annual capacity of 30 million gallons in Port Arthur, Texas. The facility will utilize the proprietary technology of Endicott Biofuels for the manufacture of ultra-pure G2 Clear biodiesel.

KMTEX will offer some operational and construction services and host Endicott Biofuels. Haddington Ventures will provide the equity funding for the project and construction is slated to commence by the end of January 2011.

Endicott is producing the ultra-quality biodiesel G2 Clear from waste oils, fats and greases. This patented technology can use any waste oil or fat as feedstock in any quantity. Endicott will utilize the unpalatable feedstock to assist the US to satisfy the renewable energy objectives described in the federal Renewable Fuel Standard and decrease the dependency on foreign crude oil sources.

The Chief Executive Officer at Endicott Biofuels, David Robinson, said that the company’s G2 Clear biodiesel has surpassed the ASTM requirements for biodiesel production utilizing 100% waste materials. He further said that the fuel has ultra low carbon intensity and sub-60 second cold soak ability, which makes the biodiesel more durable and eco-friendly.
