Vestas, the wind energy company, declared that it has opened its new office in Bucharest, the capital city of Romania. The opening of its new office shows the self-confidence of the company in the growing wind energy market of Romania and in the upcoming wind energy markets in East European countries.
Though, Vestas has been serving the Romanian wind energy market for a number of years, the starting of its new and own office depicts the prevailing favorable conditions for wind energy in the country. The Romanian national government is devoted to developing wind energy power generation to meet its clean power requirement and to reduce the release of carbon dioxide, which leads to global warming. Also the government has set productive targets for wind power generation.
The company is planning to utilize the new office in Bucharest to assist the activities of the company in local wind energy market as well as in its actions to explore the Eastern European markets. The new office will employ around 31 people to assist the Bucharest office in sales, engineering, service, marketing and product management and the company has its project office located in Constanta, Romania.
